“If you go to school, that’s 5-10 days that you've got to pay for flights, gas, food, lodging, etc. I like that it was online…I just got to sit on my porch and learn!
And we have that bank of videos, so if you are on deployment and it’s 1 AM and you’re stuck…you can just go, “hold on, lemme look at this video.”
Spend the money. That’s what I tell people. I’m a firm believer in training...and if you go on deployment, and pay attention to everything Matt teaches, you’re going to make up [the cost] in a day or two. So why not?
And you might be able to actually stay on deployment, vs. just showing up and trying to figure it on, then all the sudden you get the call saying “we don’t need you anymore…”
[Fast Track To Deployment] took a lot of the mystery out of it. When you take your test for a license, that doesn’t teach you how to be an adjuster. It’s just understanding law and insurance policies, etc. So this program was a big, big help.
I could be called out tomorrow and feel comfortable that I have good habits…and that I could go close claims and the carriers would be very happy with them.
